Hosting a small website for six months is free. You don't need an account and you won't be asked to enter payment details anywhere.

- 6 months online, from the moment your site goes online.
- New versions at the same address, so your link keeps working.
- Up to 25 MB per site, plenty of room for a game with pictures and sound.
- On your own or with your AI. Choose your folder on the site, or let your AI assistant put your site online.
- No ads and no cookies from us on your site — except for the one cookie that appears if you turn on password protection yourself.
- Hosted in Europe, at OVHcloud in France.
For ready-made websites: HTML, CSS and JavaScript, with pictures and fonts. Up to 500 files and 10 MB per file.
You'll never pay anything unless you choose to.
Will anything cost money later? If so, we'll email you at least 30 days in advance, and a new price will only apply if you choose a new six-month period. If you don't want to pay, your site will simply expire. You'll never receive a bill afterwards. That's what our terms say.
Please note: this is a trial version. While this is an experimental service, we may rebuild everything. Websites will then disappear, including those already online. So always keep your own copy of your files.
Questions about pricing
Why is it free?
Because a small website that only needs to be online for a while shouldn't have to cost anything. Think of an invitation, a game or a party page. Hosting a website like that for six months will remain free. If you need more, you'll be able to choose a different tier later. We don't show ads or sell data.
Will it cost money later?
Not for a small website that's online for six months. Want more, such as more than three websites, bigger websites or a website that stays online longer? That may cost money later. We're still working out the details. If anything changes for your site, we'll let you know at least 30 days in advance, and you'll only pay if you choose to.
What happens after six months?
You'll get an email two weeks before the end. Keeping your site online longer isn't possible yet; it may be later, for a fee. After six months, your site goes offline, and we delete it 30 days later. Want it back online after that? Upload it again; it will get a new address. So always keep your own copy of your files.
Can I have more than three sites?
Not at the same time with one email address. Sites still waiting for your confirmation count towards the limit; expired sites don't. When one expires, you'll have room again. Want to remove one sooner? Email privacy@paddenstoel.app from the email address you used to put it online.
How many visitors can my site have?
There's no fixed limit. If a site gets so busy that it affects other sites, we may take it offline. We'll then email you to explain why.
My child wants to put something online. Does that cost anything?
No. You won't enter payment details anywhere, so no payments can happen by accident. Have your child use your email address: that way, you're the owner and you receive the emails.
Can I use my own domain name?
You can't set this up yourself yet. Would you like to? Let us know, so we can see how many people want it.
Can the experimental service be full?
Yes, we still have limited space. If the experimental service is full, you'll see that when you put a site online or confirm it. Try again later.
